Many individuals find it challenging to capture photographs with their favorite characters due to time constraints or the unavailability of those characters. This is where chARacters proves to be an innovative solution.

chARacters is an augmented reality application that seamlessly integrates 3D models into the real world, allowing users to take photos with their preferred characters at any time and in any location.

The application boasts a user-friendly interface, making it accessible to a wide audience regardless of age. Users can enjoy the experience of photographing themselves alongside a diverse selection of characters, including a koala, forest troll, zombie, and T-rex.

Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to use the app:

1. Select your category.
2. Choose your character.
3. Locate your character:
   • Some characters may be larger; adjust your device's distance until they appear.
   • If your character does not appear, try moving your device around for better visibility.
4. Adjust the character on your screen:
   • To enlarge/minimize: Pinch the screen gently with two fingers.
   • To rotate: Place one finger gently on the screen and move it in a circular motion.
   • To move: Use two fingers, press gently on the screen, and move them together in the desired direction.
   • For additional guidance, click the "Instructions" button next to the camera icon and swipe down to return to the camera screen.
5. Press the button to capture your photo!
6. Access your saved photo in the gallery.
